Remember Remember a Busy November

Written by Sevenoaks CFRs on Tuesday, 17 November 2015

Well as we hurtle towards Christmas the team are having a busy old time of it.  In addition to logging hundreds of hours on call supporting SECAmb we have been running a lot of public training sessions.

Last week we help Weald Beevers to get their First Aid Badges, followed up that evening training 20 local Riverhead residents how to do CPR and use their AED.

This weekend we have 35 people booked onto our First Aid and CPR course at Sevenoaks Town Council Offices.  Sadly this session is now full, but please contact the council to be put on the list for the next course date which will happen early in the new year.

We have also been accepted by Starbucks as a potential grant recipient of their #redcupcheer campaign.

Supporters can follow Sevenoaks Community First Responders on and Twitter, tweeting using the twitter handle @sevenoakscfr along with the hashtag #RedCupCheer to help us win the vote, and up to £1,000 through a Red Cup Grant. Participants are also invited to follow the charity’s project page on Neighbourly’s website, sharing the link online to contribute to the social noise being calculated across the initiative.
