A new month – A New Patron

Written by Sevenoaks CFRs on Tuesday, 03 May 2016

We are very pleased and proud to announce that we have a new Patron of our Charity - The Lord Colgrain

Lord Colgrain is a long term Sevenoaks resident who has held many prestigious appointments including:

He attended our recent AGM and met the team before deciding to give us his Patronage.

In other news some of the team recently attended additional training at Paddock Wood Make Ready Centre, given by our colleagues from SECAmb. We are really grateful to them  for giving up their time, especially those who came in on one of their days off to train us.

We would also like to thank Farningham WI who held a very successful coffee morning in aid of us and raised £900 for essential life saving equipment.

Equally huge thanks go to Halsted WI who donated over £100 following our recent visit to them.

We are really grateful to all the external groups and supporters who raise the essential funds needed to keep us running.

The responder team have also been busy attending a range of incidents including Cardiac Arrests, Falls, Seizures and  Anaphylactic shock.  We have also been out teaching CPR and AED usage in Shipbourne, Halsted and Farningham.

Keep an eye on our facebook pages for details of CPR training near you soon.
